Open Question: FHA Bail out By Bush?
I am thinking of selling my house and moving 15 minutes away into a house with built in equity. Appraised for $270,000 buying for $200,000. What mortgage company or bank can I go through and get approved- esp with the market the way it is now. We have above average credit and have never been late on our current mortgage.
The opportunity is to good to pass up! Thank yall
I started at my job 8 weeks ago, was not under the understanding that I wouldn't see any commission for the 1st 6 months, if I did that was luck. So the little bit of Salary I am making is not cutting it. I am about at the point that I can't afford to work here, the 45 miles each way plus tolls makes my expenses just for my commute about 250 dollars a month in my little Toyota Yaris.
I brought it up to him on Friday that I was having a hard time, brought up possiable wage increase until I am making commission. He responded with " I am not sure how $100a week is going to improve your way of life, lets revisit this in October"
I have been interviewing like crazy, got one offer but it was more lateral and not worth it. Hard to interview for a position near my home since I can't miss work.
In Massachusetts can I quit for reason of not enough money to survive/get to work and still collect until another offer comes around. I have a mortgage and high bills and I am not making enough. So then I just call in and say I can't afford to come to work today cause I can't fill up my gas tank.
Anyways I was collecting before I took this job only for about 1 month. My last job was a layoff , I was there for 3 1/2 years. So they have 15 months of back employment to draw off, on the Massachusetts FAQ page of unemployment they state you can, I just would like to know if anyone else has been able to do this.
President Bush recently gave a speech on hoping to get FHA get involved to bail people struggling with their home mortgages. Any idea when this would take into effect and what are the chances of it happening?
